Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the KwizzEase app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Basic Innovations (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium (Ad-Supported with optional paid subscription) service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Effective date: 6 November 2025
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information is broadly categorized into two types:
1. Automatically Collected Information
When you use the Application, we and our third-party services may automatically collect certain information, including, but not limited to:
Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address)
The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages
The time spent on the Application
The operating system you use on your mobile device
Device identifiers (like Google's Advertising ID)
Crash logs and performance diagnostics
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
2. User-Provided Information
For a better experience and to enable key features, we require you to provide certain personally identifiable information and user-generated content. The information we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.
This includes:
Account Information: To use features like Sign Up, Bookmarks, and Progress Analysis, you must create an account. We collect this information in the following ways:
Email & Password Sign-Up: We collect your email address and a password (which is securely hashed) that you provide.
Sign-In with Google: If you choose to sign in with Google, we collect the personal information associated with your Google account, such as your name and email address.
We also associate a unique User ID with your account for service-related purposes.
User-Generated Data: When you use the Application, you may generate data that we store on our servers, such as:
Bookmarks: Any quizzes or questions you save.
Progress Analysis: Your quiz scores, answer history, and performance data. This data is linked to your account to provide you with personalized progress reports.
The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices, and marketing promotions (where you have consented).
In-App Subscriptions (Premium Version)
The Application offers optional, paid "Premium" subscriptions. All payments are processed securely by the Google Play Store. The Service Provider does not collect, store, or have access to your personal payment information (such as credit card numbers). We only receive a transaction confirmation from Google to verify your subscription status and unlock the premium features for your account. We therefore retain a history of your purchases.
Third-Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
Data Control, Opt-Out, and Deletion Rights
Opt-Out
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it.
Data Control and Deletion
In accordance with Google Play Store policies, you have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated User-Provided Data (such as your profile, bookmarks, and progress analysis).
If you wish to delete your account and associated data, you may:
Use the in-app deletion feature (if available), OR
Send an email request to innovations.basic@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Please send this request from the email address associated with your account.
We will respond in a reasonable time and process the deletion of your personal data from our active servers. Please note that we may need to retain certain information for a reasonable time for legitimate business purposes, such as legal compliance, fraud prevention, or security.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain User-Provided Data (including your account information, bookmarks, and progress) for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable time thereafter to comply with our legal obligations or resolve disputes. We will retain Automatically Collected Information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate.
If you'd like us to delete User-Provided Data that you have provided, please follow the instructions in the "Data Control and Deletion" section above.
Children
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from
