This page provides instructions for requesting the deletion of your account and associated data for the KwizzEase mobile application, developed by Basic Innovations.

We are committed to data privacy and providing you with control over your information.

How to Request Account Deletion

To permanently delete your KwizzEase account and all associated personal data, please follow these steps:

  1. Compose a new email from the email address associated with your KwizzEase account (if possible).

  2. Send the email to our support team at: innovations.basic@gmail.com

  3. Use the following subject line: Account Deletion Request

  4. In the body of the email, please clearly state your request for account deletion. Including the email address you used to sign up (especially if you are sending from a different email) will help us verify and process your request faster.

Once we receive your request, we will verify your identity to protect your data. After verification, we will proceed with the deletion and send you a final confirmation email once the process is complete.

What Data is Deleted?

Upon a verified deletion request, we will permanently delete all of your personally identifiable information (PII) and personal user-generated data from our active servers. This includes:

  • Your Account Information: Your name (if provided via Google Sign-In), your email address, and your hashed password (if you used email/password sign-up).

  • Your User-Generated Content: All of your saved Bookmarks.

  • Your Progress Data: Your entire Progress Analysis history, including all quiz scores, answer history, and performance metrics.

What Data May Be Kept?

After your personal account data is deleted, we may retain fully anonymized, aggregated data that is not tied to any individual and cannot be used to identify you.

  • Anonymized Usage Statistics: This data (e.g., "100 quizzes were taken on a specific topic") is used purely for internal analytics to understand feature popularity and improve the app for all users.

This data has no connection to you and is retained indefinitely.

Data Retention & Deletion Timeline

  • We will respond to your deletion request and begin the verification process within a reasonable timeframe (e.g., 7-14 business days).

  • Once verified, your personal data will be permanently deleted from our live databases.

  • Please note that your data may persist in secure, encrypted server backups for an additional, limited period (e.g., up to 30 days) before it is permanently purged.
